Sometimes tenants and landlords struggle to agree on End of Tenancy Settlements and that’s
OK!
Tenants must pay the landlord any agreed End of Tenancy Settlements.
Using the tenancy agreement and Check In & Check Out reports, tenants and landlords should negotiate a fair End of Tenancy Settlement figure. The Settlement figure should reflect the fair losses of the landlord that directly result from breaches of contract from the tenant(s).
Ideally, both the tenant and landlord should be walking away after swift negotiations feeling like a fair deal was had by all.
If any End of Tenancy Settlements cannot be agreed easily, landlords can escalate the negotiations to our world class Resolution Team.
Landlords (and agents) can use their online portal to escalate the negotiations, where they can manage the process and will receive any updates.
